LBL Hair Tips

How to Care for LBL Hair Extensions and Units

 

*Apply Coconut oil” moisturizer very lightly 1-2 times weekly.

*Wear a Silk” head wrap nightly.

*When Washing” our Unit or Bundles use warm water and Scrub” gently.

*When Conditioning” our Unit or Bundles RINSE thoroughly with warm water.

*Do not over Comb”or Brush” to ensure longer use.

 

LBL Lace Closure and Frontal Tips

 

When applying a closure unit…

 

1. Gluing the wig cap on head.

*Place wig cap on head. “Warning” Make sure all natural hair is tucked into cap. About 1.5 cm away from hairline!  “Warning” never place any type of glue directly on skin, hair, and or hairline may cause hair loss and skin damage!” 

*While “wig cap” is placed on head “slightly” tug the front of “wig cap” about “1.5 cm” forward, downwards and towards nose. “Away from hair line” about “10-15 minutes” on and off “gently”. This will allow wig cap to loosen up to give a more comfortable, precise removal cut of “wig cap elastic band” and for better fit. Which will insure more of a safe, secured, and amazing experience of LBL units. This should be done “While wig cap is placed on head! 

*Use “wig cap glue spray” near and around hair line. “wig cap only!”  “Warning” never place any type of glue directly on skin, hair, and hairline may cause hair loss and skin damage!” 

*Lightly” spray on “wig cap “Warning” never place any type of glue directly on skin, hair, and hairline may cause hair loss and skin damage!” 

*Blow dry for about 5-10 minutes, or just when you can tell if it’s “semi” dry.

*Once dried cut off about “1.5” cm of the elastic band” “make sure away from hair and hairline”.

 

 

 2. Cutting Lace on a closure hair unit.

*A wig cap should be already place and glued down onto head! **Make sure all natural hair is tucked into cap. 

*Place closure unit onto head then position the closure lace where desired.

*Use sharp pinking shears, and gently cut lace into two sections.

*Next cut lace along the hairline for a better application.

  

3. Apply the Closure unit on head.

*Using hair adhesive lace glue!

*Place two dots of hair adhesive lace glue!

*Top center forehead area on wig cap. “Warning” (never place any type of glue directly on the hair or skin!)

*This would be located where the closure lace will lay once glued applied on head.

Using adhesive hair lace glue, where the closure lace unit will lay.

*Make sure it’s near the hair line on wig cap and (never directly on the hair line). blow dry for 5-10 minutes until semi dry. 

*Then place the closure unit directly onto adhesive, and blow dry again for 10-15 minutes until dry for a stronger hold.

*Use styling strips around the hair line to ensure flatness.

*Styling strips should stay on for 10-15 minutes.

*After remove styling strips, and style accordingly.



When applying a frontal Unit…

 

1. Gluing the wig cap on head.

*Start by creating the “Bald Stocking Cap” method, make sure to carefully Cut Out holes for the ears to fit through the stocking cap”. This will ensure a flat lay of the frontal Unit.

*Use glue spray near and around hair line lightly. 

*Blow dry for 10-15 minutes, make sure the glue spray is dry.

*Then cut the elastic off of wig cap.

 

 

2. Cutting Lace on a frontal unit.

*The wig cap should be on head. **Make sure all natural hair is tucked into cap.

*Place frontal unit on head and position it where desired. 

*Use sharp pinking shears, and gently cut lace into 3-4 sections.

*Next cut the Frontal lace along the hairline for better application.

 

 

 

3. Apply the Frontal unit on head.

*Place little dots of the adhesive glue across the front of the forehead, near the hair line on wig cap and (never directly on the hair line)

*Make sure the adhesive glue dots are stretching from ear to ear across forehead, where the frontal lace will lay.

*Next smooth the adhesive directly on wig cap near the natural hairline. Use a flat surface tool such as a popsicle stick.

*Then blow dry the adhesive for 5-10 minutes until its semi clear.

*Then place the frontal Lace directly onto the adhesive and blow dry again for 10-15 minutes until dry for a stronger hold.

*Use styling strips on lace to ensure flatness.

*Styling strips should stay on for 10-15 minutes.

*After remove styling strips, style accordingly.

Once complete, your ready to go!

 

Removing LBL Frontal or Closure

*Lightly rub lace with warm water and 70% alcohol until lace starts to lift. WARNING: rubbing too hard can damage skin and or lace.

*Slide unit gently away from forehead until its completely removed from your head.
